Privacy Policy for BS Meter: Lie Detector Game

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The short version:

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Collecting and Using Your Data

No Accounts, No Identity Data

BS Meter does not offer or require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact details. The Application signs in anonymously using a randomly generated identifier (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) that is not linked to your identity. If you uninstall the Application, this identifier is not recoverable.

Microphone and Voice Data

When we listen: the microphone is active only during a Session that You explicitly start, and every Session begins with an on-screen consent step. The Application never listens in the background.

What happens to the audio: during a Session, audio is streamed in real time to our AI service provider, OpenAI, which transcribes the speech and analyzes it for the game's "bullshit score". We do not record, store, or retain the audio on our servers. OpenAI processes this data as our service provider under its API data-usage terms (API data is not used to train OpenAI's models).

What we keep: after each analyzed utterance we store the AI's structured assessment — the score, the verdict, and the analysis signals. These records may include short quoted fragments of what was said when the AI cites them as evidence (the same "receipts" shown on screen). We do not store full transcripts of your conversations.

Your responsibility: you must have the consent of everyone whose voice is analyzed. Recording-consent laws vary by country and region; do not point the Application at people who have not agreed to play.

Usage Data

We collect the following automatically:

Subscription and Purchase Information

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment card details. To activate Premium we receive and store purchase verification data from the stores (such as transaction identifiers, product identifier, and expiry date), linked to your anonymous identifier.

Use of Your Data

We use the collected data to:

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following Service Providers, strictly to operate the Service:

We may also disclose data if required to do so by law.

Retention of Your Data

Daily session counters and hashed network counters are only meaningful for the day they refer to. Purchase records are retained for as long as needed to manage your subscription and meet legal obligations. Analysis records (scores and signals) are retained to improve the scoring engine.

Data Deletion

Because the Application uses anonymous identifiers, uninstalling the Application permanently severs the link between you and any stored data — nothing we hold can be connected back to you afterwards.

If you would like the data associated with your anonymous identifier deleted while the Application is still installed, contact us at dubaisolve@gmail.com. You can find your anonymous identifier request in the app's subscription screen; include it in your message and we will delete the associated records within 30 days.

Transfer of Your Data

Your information is processed on servers located outside of your state, province, or country (including the United States, where our cloud infrastructure is hosted). By using the Service you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us. All communication between the Application and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS), access to stored data is restricted, and quota and purchase records are writable only by our backend. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected data from anyone under the age of 13, we take steps to remove that data from our servers.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us (for example, the stores' subscription management pages). We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
